Ryan J. Steffes
Ryan defends employers on a wide range of employment matters, including breach of contract claims, wage and hour disputes, unemployment compensation disputes, and discrimination claims filed under the Wisconsin Fair Employment Act. He also represents clients in general litigation and appellate matters.
When defending clients, Ryan utilizes his skills and expertise to resolve cases as efficiently as possible. He’s defended and prosecuted cases in both state and federal courts throughout Wisconsin.
Ryan graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Madison with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and received his law degree, cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin Law School. Prior to law school, he worked as a professional caddie at several world-famous golf courses.
A member of the Wisconsin State Bar Association and the Eau Claire Bar Association, Ryan lives with his wife and daughter in Altoona. He also enjoys spending time with clients and friends on the golf course.
