Attorney Daneille Strong has been named the Outstanding Young Professional of the Year by the Eau Claire Area Chamber of Commerce.“I am entirely humbled and honored to the be recipient of this year’s Outstanding Young Professional Award. I truly believe in the Young Professionals of the Chippewa Valley (YPCV) and its impact on our community and its future,” Strong said.
The YPCV is a partnership program of both the Eau Claire and the Chippewa Falls Area Chambers of Commerce. The mission of YPCV is to engage and empower young professionals through community, professional and social opportunities. Accordingly, events fall into three categories: Community Involvement, Professional Development, and Networking.
YPCV is open to individuals between the ages of 21 to 40 and currently has a membership of over 400. Strong is also the Chair of YPCV for the 2017-2018 year.
Strong added, “YPCV emboldens us to get to know one another better, empowers us to grow as leaders, and inspires us to make a difference in our community. I am lucky to work for an organization that also recognizes the importance of YPCV and encourages my participation in the program.”
Each year the Eau Claire Area Chamber of Commerce recognizes one member of the YPCV for his/her impact in YPCV and our community. The Outstanding Young Professional Award is presented to a member of YPCV who actively participates in YPCV events and demonstrates the core values of YPCV: integrity, diversity, professionalism and entrepreneurial spirit.
“I have a passion for YPCV and believe together we can continue to grow its legacy and our community,” Strong said.
