Attorneys Lindsey Minser and MaiVue Xiong to Present at 2019 Women’s Business Conference

Weld Riley attorneys Lindsey Minser and MaiVue Xiong are presenting at this year’s 17th Annual Women’s Business Conference on Thursday, May 16th in Eau Claire. At this year’s event, held at the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire, Lindsey and MaiVue will be presenting on Women’s Legal Considerations for Startups.

Lindsey serves on the Advisory Board for the Women’s Business Conference and is a graduate of UW – Eau Claire. She specializes in a wide variety of areas from divorce and family law to school law and is licensed in Wisconsin and Minnesota. While in Law School, she worked for the Wisconsin Innocence Project and the Restorative Justice Project, and has also worked as a law clerk for the Southern Poverty Law Center in New Orleans, LA, on their School to Prison Reform Project.

MaiVue grew up deeply involved in her parents’ business. After attending the University of Wisconsin Law School, MaiVue returned home to Eau Claire where she continues to help her parents run their business, her husband run his business, and she currently serves as a member of the Eau Claire Area Chamber of Commerce. Her experience leaves her with high competence in legal matters faced by large and small businesses.

Lindsey’s and MaiVue’s broad experience will allow them to share pertinent legal insights from various perspectives during the Women’s Business Conference.

The Women’s Business Conference is a place where professionals can gather to share insight in all aspects of business operations for start-ups, existing businesses, and expanding businesses in the greater Chippewa Valley area.
