Attorney Greg Banchyin Eau Claire, Menomonie, Black River Falls, and Wausau
Greg’s primary areas of practice are estate planning, probate and elder law, working mostly with individuals and families. Greg’s estate planning practice includes everything from preparing simple wills and powers of attorney to much more complex planning such as trusts and marital agreements. These plans are often designed to help clients preserve wealth as they prepare for the possibility of long term care. Greg also helps clients when guardianships are needed.
In addition, Greg works with several clients helping them establish their businesses. This includes deciding on the best choice of entity and developing workable business succession plans.
Greg grew up in Eau Claire attending Regis High School (class of 1976) and the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire (class of 1981). He attended Marquette University Law School, graduating magna cum laude in 1987. He is very active in the elder law community in Wisconsin presently serving as a director on the Elder Law and Special Needs Section Board of the State Bar of Wisconsin and on the WisPACT Board of Directors. Greg also serves as an advisor to the Board of Directors for the Wisconsin Chapter of the National Association of Elder Law Attorney (NAELA) and is currently President-Elect of the Wisconsin Chapter of the NAELA. He is a member of the Wisconsin Bar Association, the Eau Claire County Bar Association, and is admitted to practice in both the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin at the Federal level.
