Our Clients and COVID-19: Weld Riley’s Commitment to You

Thank you again for choosing Weld Riley as your legal representatives. We regard it as a privilege to serve the needs of our clients and appreciate the trust they have placed in us to handle a wide variety of legal matters. This message is intended to update you on our efforts to ensure uninterrupted access to attorneys and staff during the upcoming weeks given the uncertainty surrounding the spread of the new coronavirus, COVID-19.

The health and safety of our clients, our staff, and our community serves as our focal point. We have reviewed our operational plans as well as guidance from local, state, and national health officials and have begun implementation of additional measures so that we will remain available to you if our offices or employees are directly affected by the coronavirus.

At present, our offices will remain open for clients but we are happy to change any in-person meetings to conference calls or video meetings. We have also stressed the importance of illness prevention measures to all staff, made hand sanitizer available throughout our offices, added appropriate hygiene signage as reminders in appropriate locations, and encouraged all employees to safeguard their health and the health of others.

We are also prepared to implement a variety of measures to assure that we can continue to operate even in the event of widespread quarantine or office closure which would prevent employees from coming into our offices. Work-from-home or other remote access options will be utilized on an as-needed basis going forward, and we will make certain that all matters are handled appropriately in accordance with the circumstances. Our goal is to assure that when you need us, you can reach us.

As this situation evolves, we will continue to focus on the health of our clients and staff while at the same time assuring that your legal needs are met with the same prompt and professional attention we have always sought to provide.

Please let us know if you have any questions, or if we can assist in any way.
