Chris practices with the firm’s Government Law and Business & Corporate Sections.

Chris represents local municipalities in a variety of legal matters, including representation at meetings and in litigation in which a municipality is involved, advising on compliance issues, drafting of ordinances and development agreements, and prosecution of citations.

He also works with clients on personal and commercial real estate transactions, including preparing and reviewing purchase and sale agreements, lease agreements, and closing documents. Further, Chris advises clients on the process of forming, structuring and operating entities for their businesses, including business sales and acquisitions. Chris also represents clients in business and real estate disputes, including contract, eviction, adverse possession, and partition.

In addition, Chris assists banking and credit union clients with regulatory compliance matters.

In 2012, Chris earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is admitted to practice in Wisconsin, the U.S. Tax Court and the U.S. District Court, Western District of Wisconsin. He is on the Board of Directors for Friends of Beaver Creek Reserve and is also a current member of the Eau Claire County and Tri-County Bar Associations. Chris was formerly a Director for the Arcadia Chamber of Commerce.

In his spare time, Chris enjoys hiking, fishing, grilling, fantasy football, spending time with his family and attending Wisconsin Badger football games.
